Geneva Motor Show Hosts World Debut of Two Hyundai Models

Earlier this month, two new Hyundai vehicles were introduced at the 2017 Geneva International Motor Show. The new i30 wagon adds a new body to the i30 family, and the hydrogen-powered Future Eco (FE) Fuel Cell Concept offers an intriguing peek at a next-generation fuel cell vehicle that will launch in 2018.

The i30 Wagon carries on the design influences of its five-door sibling, adding cargo capacity that more than doubles once the rear are folded. LED daytime running lights and full-LED headlamps make for a shining first impression, while the sleek, dynamic lines help the wagon achieve a coupe-like shape.

The FE Fuel Cell Concept, which features a driving range of nearly 500 miles before it needs refueling, showcases the next step in Hyundai's progress towards the company's eventual goal of creating a zero-emission Hydrogen Energy Society.

Hyundai also featured the Ioniq Plug-in Hybrid at the show, providing show-goers with a look at the vehicle that joins the Ioniq Hybrid and Ioniq Electric models in making up the full Ioniq roster of electrified powertrain vehicles.
